Morning everybody!
It is really cold here in the UK now, unusually cold for us, with temperatures as low as -5 in the south and a staggering -10 in Scotland. We cannot keep the house warm, and we are walking around like Eskimos!
There is a bright side to all this weather; we have been promised some snow. May not be much (as usual) but I hope we get a little, even if it doesn’t stay long…

So brave… but I’m not leaving the house until it gets a little warmer. (although this had better happen fast, as I have two hospital appointments next week!

I have a blood test this afternoon and a hospital appointment tomorrow. The weather is still cold, but hopefully the roads won’t be too bad later today. Tomorrow we should have sunshine so all being well most of the snow here will go. However, we may be in for some more next week.

Yes, it is bitterly cold and yesterday I headed into town for some shopping and not surprisingly found it quite empty! We had a dusting of snow and it is so beautiful especially with all the bright sunshine. Our bulbs, which came out early with the warmish December, are struggling alas. Hope you manage to keep warm!
