I do like to keep busy, and I suspect this might be because if I slow down or stop, I am convinced that fate may decide to sign me out.
I can’t remember my last day off, where I did nothing all day. There are so many things I want to do, quite apart from everything I need to do. Does this make a difference? I think it does.
Keeping busy keeps me on my toes. Sometimes, I think there are possibly too many things, but every time I clear a path to my office desk, it’s not long before more things turn up.
It’s my fault, for I will keep thinking of all these new and different things I want to try.
Knowing just how old I’m getting now, I probably won’t, even with the best will in the world, be able to clear everything before I go, but I won’t lose any sleep over that…
After all, I could live until I’m 100…
