What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

Daily writing prompt
What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

I have tackled a few difficult situations in my life, but I think the most hardest and complicated goal was learning how to use a computer.

I think I came petty close to losing my mind during that time, but I am so glad I persevered.

All of the jobs I have mastered since then, pale in comparison with that first foray into the computer world. Writing and self publishing our own books would not have been possible, and for that alone, I will be eternally grateful.

On the lighter side, online computer games are some of the best in the world, and I am grateful for them too…

Congratulations and very well done, Annabelle. I stopped smoking 15 years ago now and it was easy really. It was after my heart attack and the doctor said that if I didn’t stop smoking I would die…

My hardest goal was moving away from friends and family. I miss them a lot. But It’s lovely where I am now.

Glad you mastered the computer! My latest goal is to swim 50 lengths. I’m getting there, but am knackered after 40…

I cannot imagine how it must feel to push yourself so far and for so long, Stevie. These days I have trouble getting out of a chair… Good for you!

Wow! You will be there soon, Stevie. I bet it’s doing you a lot of good, healthwise too?

Yes, it’s taken away my back pain.

As long as I keep on swimming. When I had to stop for my hand op for 2 months, the pain came back.

That’s a shame, Stevie. You would think it would do something …

It does, just as long as I keep swimming regularly.

Moving to Spain was the hardest personal goal for me. It was so hard, but worth it. xo

Such a big step, Darlene. It must have taken a bus load of courage…
