Ideas by the bucket load… #Inspiration #Research

I was up at 5.30 this morning, my head full of ideas for my new book. Yes, it is official, there will be a new book! I have just spent the morning researching and I’m nearly ready to grab my pen…

My head is bursting with ideas and possibilities, and it does feel as though I have been plugged in!

Such a great feeling and very welcome…

I have felt like I had reached the end of that particular road, but it seems not. Even though there were times when I struggled with the last one, I am fully signed on to do it again with a brand-new Detective David Snow thriller called Swan Song.

Speaking of the last book, The Mystery of Folly’s End, I would love some feedback on that one, as maybe it wasn’t as good as it should have been?

Free copies are available on Bookfunnel. https://bookhip.com/PRSFMAH

Please take advantage of this offer, as this new book absolutely must be brilliant, and your feedback will make it so… 💖💖💖

I just finished reading Folly’s End, and really enjoyed it. I did feel that some loose ends needed to be tied up, though. For example, Angie and her desperate call to her sister. I was not entirely sure why she called her. (I didn’t like her very much.) Was her amnesia genuine, or one of her manipulative ploys?

And I know he was in disguise, but I found it difficult to believe that Charlie didn’t have any inkling of Stuart’s real persona.

But that didn’t detract from my enjoyment.

Thanks for the wonderful feedback, Vivienne. Maybe I overdid the mystery angle?

No, I don’t think so. That part I enjoyed a lot.

I don’t suppose you could drop a quick review on Amazon or Goodreads, could you? It helps such a lot with the marketing… 💖💖

Sure. I always do. Just haven’t got round to it, yet. I also usually post it on my website (http://aspholessaria .co.uk) and on Medium, too.

              * for some reason, the link to your site didn’t work. Probably a WP thing?

It has worked now, so don’t worry!

I am hoping you’re right, John. Early indications are pretty wonderful so far!

Glad you’ve found some inspiration. Sometimes it takes me about 6 months to think of a new story to write.

I don’t know why I am so excited about it, Stevie. It’s blooming hard work!
