Cover Image Question

Audrey Driscoll's avatarAudrey Driscoll's Blog

I’m considering changing the cover image for my novel She Who Comes Forth, a paranormal adventure set in Egypt in 1962.

Which of these two images intrigues you most? If you’ve read the book, which do you think best represents it?

Image #2

#1 or #2? Or neither? Answers in Comments, please.

Gosh that is hard, I loved the story, but the trouble with reading books on Kindle is that once you have downloaded you forget the cover, it’s not like a real book sitting by your besdside or on the coffee table where the cover is important. I would go with the first; the background says ancient Egypt warm stone in the desert while the figure is recognisable as a modern woman and ancient Egptian combined.

Thanks, Janet! Image #1 is getting a lot of positive comments, which is a good thing. #2 is kind of an experiment on my part to see what I could do with that rather interesting close-up.
