New Butterfly Cinquain

Bitter

Eastern winds blow

My breath is frozen fast

Sharp thoughts flare, calling from my past

Answer

I recall her face on dark glass

A love from many lifetimes

She stands waiting

Time lost

Haiku

Sharp frosted feelings

Burn, smoulder, with rage, life cold

Cutting through my heart…
