Given new life, you feel the smile on your face
Thinking of old friends
Lovers you have lost touch with
You spend too much time wishing
Hoping not to repeat the past.
Shaving in your mirror, you tell yourself
It is time to upload new thoughts.
To bring back some of that old faith
To remember who you are.
This is the first day of the rest of your life
