It is a pleasure to be here with you today, Jaye. You and Anita have certainly written some interesting and entertaining books. Also, Anita’s poetry always is amazing. I have enjoyed reading your blog for a few years now and am very excited that you volunteered to host a tour of mine. I want to thank you for that and explain to your readers that my latest book Detour on the Eternal Road is book three in the Eternal Road Series. Here is the blurb.

Sam and James are dragged into another strange assignment when a couple of souls on The Eternal Road drop off the radar. Archangel Michael gives them specific orders to resolve the issue and get Billy Ray Chitwood, the national race car champion, and Dale Earnhardt, his guide, back on the task of finding Billy’s Eternal Home.
Finally, meeting up with Billy Ray and Dale, the foursome finds themselves in the future where World War III has devastated the country. The team discovers the cause of the start of the war and vows to mitigate that circumstance and save the world from devastation. They encounter their old nemesis, Lucifer, who has in mind trading preventing the war in exchange for Sam accepting his offer to be his queen.
Since Lucifer’s offer is a non-starter, Sam and James must overcome Lucifer’s interference and work to change the course of history, or humankind is doomed.
Excerpt from Detour on the Eternal Road
The old man rubs his neck. “You know, come to think about it, a guy walked down the road. He might’a been a drifter looking for work, and I thought it was too bad I didn’t have any to offer. But I figured I could give him some of our supper. I don’t know what happened after that.” Billy Ray pauses and looks down the road. His hands tremble on the cane. “For all I know, the guy’s still at my place. God knows what danger Sara is in.”
Sam faces Billy Ray. “Is Sara your wife?”
“Yes. We need to get going to make sure she’s okay.” The older guy throws on his hat and starts down the road.
Sam goes after him. “Wait.”
Billy Ray stares over his shoulder. “You just had to let Wyatt go. We coulda been there by now. What if that guy’s hurt Sara? She could be lyin’ in the cabin in trouble.”
“Billy Ray,” Sam calls. “There is no cabin, and there is no Sara.”
Billy Ray’s shoulders hunch up, and he stops. Sam reaches him, and a tear rolls down his cheek. In a cracked voice, he says, “You had to say that, didn’t you? My Sara loves me and now you’re sayin’ she’s not there?”
“You know she’s not, don’t you?”
Billy Ray looks up to the sky. “I’m dead, aren’t I?”
Sam lowers her eyes. “Yes. You died in 2023.”
The defeated-looking man gazes at Sam with tear-filled eyes. “How the hell do you know that? Who set you two up as experts?”
Sam holds up her hand, which James takes as a signal to stay quiet. “We’re messengers of God, and our job is to help folks like you, who’ve passed over, to find a place to spend eternity.”
Billy Ray looks away. “Can you prove what you say?”
Sam shakes her head. “You know what we say is true.”
The man walks over to a patch of grass and grunts when he sits on the ground. Again, he removes his hat, looks up at Sam and James, and wipes his face. “Tell me how it happened.”
James comes over and sits in the grass as well. “It would be much better if you could tell us.”
Billy Ray wipes his nose with his sleeve. “I’m not getting a clear picture of what went on. Can you guys help fill me in?”
James nods. “We can do better than that. We’ll take you to the place where you passed over.”
Billy Ray’s eyes grow more prominent. “The hell you say.”
Sam places her hand under the man’s arm. “Come on. Get up, and let’s go to that spot.”
Billy Ray grunts as he struggles to his feet. James helps to steady him. The trio walk a short distance, and James points to a green-and-white 1956 Oldsmobile, which sits in a field. “There she is. Our transportation out of here.”

John is an award-winning author who after an extensive business career began writing full time in 2012. His specialty is thriller fiction novels, but John also writes poetry and short stories. He has written Seven other books that are on Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions.
