I can’t get over how good it feels to be back in the saddle!
I spent yesterday morning assembling the characters for the new book. It was pretty intense stuff, really, as they simply must be good.
For some reason, this sent me off on one of the most productive days I have had in ages.
Feeling inspired, I handled several jobs that had been on the back burner for weeks, and by 4 p.m., I was feeling so smug that I was beginning to annoy myself. I wondered why I didn’t get more days like this. Mind you, it will take weeks, if not months, to write this book, so hopefully, there will be more…

I have been watching a lot of those Hollywood style movies lately, the ones with gorgeous beaches and glorious seas. Basically, anything that has the sea in it. And yes, you guessed it. I am still desperate for a sea fix. And no, I have not managed to get anywhere near water of any kind this year!

So near, yet so far…
Speaking of watching television, we have just finished binge watching a new TV series, Nightsleeper.

When Joe, an off-duty police officer travelling on a sleeper train, realises that someone is attempting to gain control and drive it remotely, he calls Abby from National Cyber Security, for help. However, with the entire UK rail network soon under attack too, the pair realise that if they fail to get to everyone on board the Heart of Britain off in time, all their lives may be on the line.

Six episodes of back-to-back tension. The pace never dropped, and we were all out of breath at the end of every episode. This was, by far, the most exciting series we have ever watched!
I really hope you are all having a lovely week too!
