I have launched several books as a writer/editor, but this one, The Mystery of Folly’s End, is turning out to be a little different.
It could possibly be my last opus, although I hope not.
My preliminary preparations seemed odd, and I feel the need to launch it differently too. If I can decide what to do, that is.
For example, should I ask for volunteers to help with the launch, review, and/or promote the book?
Or, mention this in passing in a blog post and wait and see what happens?
Or, simply publish without the fanfare?
Considering that actually writing anything this year has been a bit of a miracle, it should be eligible for a bit of a fuss. I didn’t expect it to pass muster when I submitted it for a professional edit, but it passed with just a few adjustments!
So this is another reason to consider pushing the boat out. ???

I will be posting all sorts of things about this story on the 16 day run up to launch day, character posts, excerpts and anything thing else I can find of interest.

I really hope you like my latest offering!
