Thanks again to Jim at Garden Ruminations for another inspiring post!

a twenty year old crab apple bonsai
This was one of my non bloomers last year. Since altering the pruning method, it has given me four flowers! More next year please?

a very special camellia
I didn’t think this camellia would flower this year, due to the appalling weather conditions, but finding this windswept flower was a lovely surprise!

a young magnolia, still hanging in there…
This magnolia deserves a medal, for the last time I looked, all these buds looked damaged. Bravo!

these wild strawberries have taken over the meadow patch
I needed another flower for this weeks six, so this rampant strawberry got the job! I don’t think it’s a wild variety, as the flowers aren’t pink.

sorry about the blurred image of my cherry tree, it was blowing a gale at the time…
My cherry tree is another survivor of the wind and rain, but it’s doing it’s best!

Not sure what this is called, but it’s beautiful…
Finally, this magnificent bush is shaped like an umbrella and attracts every bee for miles!
I am so glad the garden is getting in the mood, as I am determined to spend more time out there.
Keeping in the spirit of six, I managed to pot up six dahlia tubers the other day!
