Decision Time!
All the eternal tweaking has driven me mad for the last time!
So far this week, I have had emails coming in minus any images, just empty squares and no immediate clue who the email is from. This must be a BT tweak, part of their annoying upgrade. Reading emails on there is becoming a major annoyance. I swear some of them vanish before I reach them, as one minute, I have 40 to read. The next time I look, there are only 32!
BT must be struggling, for the “sorry, we are working on this” messages are coming in regularly. They have my sympathy but wish they could have had a practice run before annoying me.
Most tweaks don’t take long to figure out, but sometimes they prove difficult. Microsoft Word’s latest one took me a week to figure out!
Considering my hatred of technology, I took the plunge at Christmas and replaced my laptop. This has plagued me ever since, and I have given up on it several times. After many pleas for help, I wiped it clean, thinking to start again. This desperate move worked the trick, and I can definitely recommend it!
I never thought it would happen, but I don’t like a lot of what I do every day… so what am I going to do about this sorry state of affairs?
Apart from all the crap that is literally taking over my life, I seem to be slowly falling to bits. Bearing in mind that I am 80 years old next month, my eyesight is fading with some serious double vision going on. My memory is the worst it has ever been, thready and infuriating.
I never thought my patience had a limit, but it appears that I do.
In a nutshell, I am going to stop doing the same boring things every day, and I am going to stop doing what doesn’t really work, leaving me more time to do what I love. I have been changing many things lately, and I feel so much better for it. All my lists are slowly shrinking, too…
This will probably be my last rant, and don’t all cheer at once!
