Jaye Marie and Anita Dawes

Well, here we are… the first day of the new year, but it feels the same as yesterday.

Of course it does, for nothing has really changed, has it? Apart from the calendar, that is.

Nothing will change unless we bite the bullet and change something.

It might be a wee bit early for change making right now, but we do intend to make some this year.

Don’t know how or when, or even what for that matter, but a few changes are going to be made.

Life simply has to slow down around here, just a little, so we can catch our breath. Time gets more and more precious all the time, so making a little more of it is the order for 2024.

Along with the new year, we are looking forward to the Year of the Dragon, which starts on Saturday the 10th of February. Anita wanted to write an acrostic poem for the new year, but it turned out to be about the dragon instead!
