I was up early this morning, and dawn was just breaking on the horizon.
Not that I can see much of the horizon from here. One of the joys of living in a very busy town!
As the sky grew lighter, my attention was drawn to my window by the sheer beauty of the colour of the sky. I have seen glorious sunrises, not many this year if my memory serves me well, but this was the first time I had seen such an intense lavender colour.
These photographs don’t really capture the magic very well…
I would see more sky without this gum tree, but I love it. Watching it on a windy day is like being at sea…
These lavender skies faded in minutes, but I will remember them …
It has been all quiet on the cat flap front, even though Tabby has been back several times. Are we experiencing a truce? I sincerely hope so…
