   We could bring out the best in each other, but all too often we don’t because we’re insecure about our own ‘best’. A person secure within him or herself has no need to show off, no need to put others down to make themselves look better.
   That’s a lesson my Dad taught me years ago when we used to play fairly competitive table tennis. I was good, but Dad was better, yet in front of others he never unleashed his full power against my game. He wanted /me/ to look ‘good’. I’ve never forgotten that. :)
