Jo Naylor is on the run. Wanted back in Canada for questioning regarding her father’s suicide. She has no intention of returning. With a new identity, she takes up temporary residence in a foreign country. She may not be a detective any longer but once a cop, always a cop. A distraught woman pleads with Naylor to find her daughter. Should she help? Biography of the Author

I live by Cocagne Bay in Eastern Canada where the summers are hot and the snow is deep in the winter. I married the greatest gal on earth, Gloria, and have a son Adam, two stepsons Mark and Chris (Mireille)Young. Three grandchildren Matthieu, Natasha and Damien.

I love reading. My mother was a school teacher and taught me to read and write when I was young. I’m presently retired and write as often as possible. My other hobbies include woodworking and stained glass.

I love jazz and am a HUGE fan of JJ Cale.

Jo Naylor has escaped the fall out from her last case as a detective, hoping to find peace and oblivion in Thailand.

She misses her old life and her detective partner but is solidly determined to enjoy her freedom.

But fate has a way of sticking its nose into our lives and it isn’t long before her detective hat is back on her head, prompted by the surprise arrival of her old partner, Adam Thorne.

But if he thinks he can get Jo to come back with him, he is out of luck. Jo has the taste of freedom now, and there’s no going back…
