What do you see # 81 – May 10, 2021

( For the visually challenged reader, the image shows a closed wooden gate with the number 28.5 written on it with chalk. The gate is surrounded be thick green creepers)

The tiny lock on the gate holds no one out
You have to take 28-5 through the gate
Keep it in mind, a code!
There are treasures inside the broken down mansion
So the story goes
Empty for forty years, I wonder why it was never sold
Ghost stories have grown, blossomed
Through the cracks in the gate, late at night
Light can be seen inside the broken windows
My cousin Vinny found a gold coin
After falling through the rotten floor, snapping his ankle
he was banned from going near the place again
One of the towns youngsters went missing
The mansion was blamed for his disappearance
In the background, I can hear dad’s old till
ringing up the days takings
So, with torch in hand, I’m off to climb over the gate
To find the treasure so dad can buy a new till.
Wish me luck!
