There is something about touching shadows that evokes emotion. I think the feeling of horns and tails is a hint to Pasadena. Super poem, Anita.

Ah. An old substitution for declining something. Instead of “I’ll pass,” folks would say Pasadena. (city in California known for the Rose Boul football game) Would get a laugh. (you don’t have to laugh) 😂

That reminds me of another word that is presently driving me crazy. In my favourite medical programmes, ER, Greys Anotomy… some patients are taken straight to a place called Bagdag. Any idea what this means, John?

Two explanations I found. 1. The infamous ‘Baghdad’ trauma bay on the ‘Chicago Med’ emergency department set — its name comes from the fact it is used for the most serious cases. 2. Going to Baghdad’ is a reference in the medical community to the situation surrounding Jehovahs Witnesses. Because they can’t have a blood transfusion most Witnesses refuse surgery. It makes the doctors choice a little harder to find a way around it and treat them. Take your pick.

Thanks, John but I don’t think it’s anything to do with Jehovah Witnesses…

I agree but I thought you should see the two explanations in the web.
