What do you see # 75 – March 29, 2021

( For the visually challenged reader, the visually a young woman looking up to the sky, where a new moon is visible. Her stance is meditative)

Pale starlit sky, a new wishing moon

She stands below, her arms across her heart.

Her wish to find love, a place to call home.

Her need to put down roots, strong

Like a beggar calling each day

Mother is knocking, the door becomes thinner.

Time slipping away, waiting for the magic

of the moon to supply her every need

She forgets to live her life…
