( For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a bald eagle sitting in the bare branches of a tree. It is looking down at the camera)
I am being spied on by a baby eagle
So I am meant to believe
I know it’s a very young Zeus
That has escaped his parental boundaries
He is out to do some mischief
Testing his newfound powers
That cameraman had better watch out
He might find, come morning
He has cloven hooves and rather furry back.
Across the field, a young maid milking
Runs to her father, too late
Zeus has seen her beauty
He has time to wait, he knows the young maid
shall have no other but he to warm her bed
She feels it too, she cannot name it
Something watching, waiting
Never moving closer
Time shall ripen soon
And Zeus shall appear…
