Mirror

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

Is it the many other parts of you?

Is it the shadow of your childhood

standing behind you?

How many of those young dreams

still beat inside your heart?

Does the grey hair remind you

of the inevitable?

Old dreams become new,

you no longer look for yesterday…

    I liked the way the questions build up to the challenge of the last two lines.
    Sets me thinking to make sure I use up the rest of my life in busy and productive ways.
