Trouble… #Poetry

Trouble

Hubble Bubble, I am always in trouble

I speak when I should keep it shut

When I should speak, I don’t

And that’s when the s**t hits the fan

To say I could have told you

Voices raised to thunder status

Doors slam

Red faces screaming on too long

I can’t do right for doing wrong

Even when I try to be helpful

It blows up in my face

I hand out good advice when asked for

Which goes in one ear and out the other

Not to sound big headed

A week or so later, they find I was right all along

Hubble Bubble, is there a right kind of trouble?

This sounds a lot like my life. Great poem.

You know the saying, ‘if there’s a wrong way to do something…’
