
Starchild in Glastonbury is one of the few shops where I can spent unlimited time and wish for an unlimited budget. You walk through the door … a work of art in itself…into a low-ceilinged space lined with polished wood and the mingled scents of flowers and rare essences. On the counter there is always a piece of seasonal art… beautiful and ephemeral, created with salt and herbs. Jars line the walls, interspersed with candles, books and handcrafted art, but it is the incense and oils that capture the mind and lift the spirit.
