By the time you read this, I will be gone…

You’ll forgive me if I’m a bit quiet. Failing car problems, disasters, unpassable snow and exploding coffee pots inflicting third degree burns (which is what happened the last time we attempted this… I’m drinking tea tonight) I’m getting ready for a road trip northwards. Yes, in January. No-one ever accused me of sanity. It is, of course, purely for research… the fact that we may get to see some amazing places, celebrate a bit of an occasion and meet up with old friends en route has nothing to do with it.

I have stocked the fridge left a few posts to keep you company while I’m gone … some old, some new and some from guests… just in case there is no internet connection. I am, of course, taking the camera… and will try to keep up, post, read and…
