It’s earth, Spock but not as we know it
From here it still looks like a beautiful blue jewel
Take a closer look, they’re all using masks
Their faces covered, fear in their eyes
Don’t touch, avoid people
Sidestep into the road
Risk getting hit by a passing car
Better a broken bone than Covid 19
Will the humans we remember
Come back from this?
Their world is now awash with new ideas
Let their God be impressed…
