Happy New Year everyone.
How do you like the bunnies? Hubby saw them and thought they were cute, so they have pride of place on the table looking outside.

We watched our DVD (a review will follow later today), then for the first time in over 20 years, we stayed up to toast in the New Year with a tipple. We went outside and stood by the gate, Hubby with a glass of slivovitz and me with a glass of Baileys.  We raised our glasses to the moon (which had been full on the 30th December) and toasted my Mum, the Dads, Maggie, our friends past and present, and all those we have lost this year and in years past.
We saw our retired nurse at the window opposite and waved. It was good to see her as she hasn’t been well. A distant voice echoed Happy New Year as…
