Driving home under purple skies
Magic enough you’d think
Until I look at my side mirror
The moons reflection didn’t match
The black reversed moon worried me
Is it a sign of things to come?
Does it whisper of strange days ahead?
Could it be dark fortune
Waiting to gather its own?
I wondered how this portent would affect me…
