#TANKA TUESDAY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 205, #POET’SCHOICE

One
Timeless
Gold moment
Passing from view
Held in memory
My framed picture of you
Lost by my own careless hands
I search the house, I cannot see
Your place in my life, now hollow time
No framed window in mind for me to see…

Oh, how sad! Hopefully the narrator can bring back enough memories to not need the physical photo.

I don’t do well with the holidays. We don’t have any family and our kids have gone their seperate ways. I’m looking forward to our move. We do have friends there so that should be nice. Hang in there and stay busy. That’s what I do. Christmas isn’t the same without kids and grandkids. ❤
