Eugi’s Weekly Prompt “Crystal Ball ” September 28, 2020

Borrowed
Talking about borrowed time
As autumn leaves crunch
Beneath my feet
There is lay, the perfect crystal sphere
With autumn scene trapped within
Move it from its bed of leaves
Clear glass is in your hand
Its fortune telling days are done
Gypsy caravans have passed
Their winter pastures they must find
To warm life by family fires
To talk again of borrowed time…

I love where you went with this. Here’s hoping the crystal ball served its purpose before it lost its magic. Thank you so much for joining in.
