I managed to get a job

At the last minute with the crew

a runner, fetch coffee at the snap of a finger

I hoped it would be worth it

Chinese whispers bounced around the walls for weeks

The most beautiful man in the world

Would appear for one night

My hero, my first love

Tall, black hair, blue eyes

One kiss from those lips would kill me

I dreamed of being this close to my idol for too long

As I worked, I prayed for the whispers to be true

Then I heard someone say, Elvis is in the building…
