Somebody thanked me last night. She was in tears, and I felt her tears.
You see, when my husband and I had our first child, he decided to go back to college and get his degree. So he got his bachelors and his masters degree while we were having our four children. I worked the first year as a teacher, and then I worked from home until we had our third child. I wanted to keep working at that point, but my hands were tied at that point due to our housing, and it was too expensive to work outside of the house with three tiny children. That and I was working my tail off at home just being a mom. It’s not unlike how tired I am right now trying to home school and work close to full time outside of the house.
