Jacquie Biggar-USA Today Best-selling author

Hard to imagine it’s been thirty-five years since DH and I said the big “I do” and began what would be a journey together filled with love, laughter, and yes, tears.
I remember being a nervous wreck that day. No one mentioned how stressful it is to plan a wedding- thank goodness I had the strong support of my family to help!

The day dawned sunny and bright (a good omen) and soon Mom and Dad’s was a flurry of activity. My bridesmaids looked beautiful in their pale pink dresses and I felt like a princess in my Cinderella gown.
There was a moment, pulling up to the church, when I was certain he wouldn’t show. I had to bite my tongue against begging Dad to take me home- I’m glad I didn’t!

I’m not sure who shook worse walking down the aisle, Dad or me 🙂
