Jaye Marie and Anita Dawes

Though my garden is finished, I picked these wild goldenrod flowers (Solidago sp.) on a walk last week. Nearby was a delightfully-curled, dried stalk of grass, which I tucked into an old bottle. Simple things can be so pleasing, even Mr. Toad thinks so.
